Note: Flights leaving the central and eastern US will need to leave the evening before the first day in Croatia. All western flight routes leave late afternoon through the evening.  After arriving in Split, you will meet your driver for a private transfer to your hotel in a luxury sedan/minivan.

Check-in at Hotel Ambasador

Located on the sunny Split’s West Coast promenade, Ambasador blends the town’s history and heritage with modern architecture. Meet your guide for a private tour of Split. This unique 1700-year-old town features a living monument of the Diocletian’s Palace, included in UNESCO’s World Heritage list. A walk with your guide reveals the layers of history on every step and every magnificent landmark. The majestic square of Peristil rises above the mysterious Substructures of the Palace; pretty Venetian palazzi encircle lively squares, while the colorful green market and a relaxing waterfront promenade create a cozy living room for the locals… Overnight in Split.

Day 3: Go on a voyage to the island of Hvar

Day 4: Day at Leisure in Hvar

Spend the day at leisure exploring Hvar, boasting Mediterranean lushness, rich heritage, and glitzy nightlife. In the historic settings admire Venetian-style palaces and grand edifices. Visit the imposing Arsenal and discover Europe’s oldest public theatre, dating from 1612. For breathtaking views go up to Hvar Fortress, a 16th-century citadel perched on a hill above the ramparts. Overnight in Hvar.

Day 5: Private Motor Boat Cruise to Vis & Pakleni Islands

Meet your skipper for a short walk to the port where your boat awaits. Hop on board and enjoy a private motorboat cruise to the Vis & Pakleni Islands. Your sea adventure begins on the rugged shores of Vis Island. Until 1989 it was an army base closed to visitors, so isolation preserved the traditional way of life and pristine beauty. Wander the narrow streets of the quiet Komiza fishermen’s village, bathe in the spectacular Stiniva Bay, and indulge in a quintessential Mediterranean experience.

Continue to Pakleni Islands, a chain of eleven playful islets watching over the Hvar port. Although their name popularly translates as Hell islands, it originally derives from paklina, the pine resin harvested here to coat ships. This breathtaking archipelago with intact nature and sapphire waters is ideal for swimming and sunbathing. Don’t miss out on a delicious local meal – ask your skipper for recommendations – as there are fine little restaurants scattered around the islands. Later today cruise back to Hvar. Overnight in Hvar.

**You will have use of the boat during the time of your choice, and it will be at your disposal all day.**

Day 6: Speed by Catamaran to Korčula

Today you will be accompanied to the port where you will embark on a public catamaran to Korčula.

Tour of Korčula Town and Villa Korta Katarina & Winery

In Korčula meet your driver who will hold your luggage. Enjoy a private walking tour of Korčula town with a local guide, famous as the hometown of Marko Polo – the first world traveler. With more than 2000 years of history, the former Greek colony of the “Black Korčula” is a living monument with a laid-back island ambiance and numerous cultural riches. After some time at leisure join your driver for a private transfer to Dubrovnik along Peljesac Peninsula, Croatia’s most famous wine region. Visit the beautiful state-of-the-art winery of Korta Katarina in Orebic and feast your taste buds on a private wine tasting of their award-winning Plavac Mali, Posip, and Rose wines. Afterward, continue the ride to Dubrovnik and your Villa Dubrovnik hotel. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Quaint Franciscan monastery hides Europe’s oldest pharmacy; Rector’s Palace honors the mighty dukes of Dubrovnik and the baroque Church of St Blaise celebrates the town’s patron saint.
